The first single from Chicago duo The-Drum's forthcoming EP wraps ghostly cut-up melodies around a slow, slightly-swung rhythmic backbone - that, despite its minor-key 2-step melodies has more than a hint of sunny Peter Gabriel-isms about it.
It's probably the most complex and fully realised thing they've done since Omar and suggests their new record - Sense Net is out on Mishka Jul 17 - will be their best yet.
